navaladi Posted October 29, 2006 Report Share Posted October 29, 2006 Hi All, I have installed mandriva 2007.0 x86-64 version for my 64 bit P4 processor. After install drak3d shows that "No 3D Desktop support for system" with other options masked ( xgl ). also i found other users have same problems.. I followed a sugguestion given here http://linsec.ca/blog/index.php?/archives/...0,-and-Xgl.html They failed to solve the problem. I have installed Latest ati driver version "ati-driver-installer-8.29.6.run" Still fglrx module is not loaded..so i could not XGL make it work . [root@localhost ~]# fglrxinfo display: :0.0 screen: 0 OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.5) [root@localhost ~]# :-( pls help out. [root@localhost ~]# lsmod | grep fglrx [root@localhost ~]# Also ATI driver given with mandriva 2007.0 seems not working..
