My workstation is the Fujitsu Siemens M440 workstation with following hardware configuration;

Intel P4 HT 3.4GHz EMT64 processor

Intel 955XE chip set with ICH7R BIOS RAID controller

Two 160GB SATA harddisks

1GB DDR2 memory

Nvidia Quadro FX 540 Express x16 VGA card

I installed Mandriva 2007 x64 bit version on my workstation with Windows XP Pro x64 bit. I have set up two hard disks as RAID 1. In the installation process, Mandriva 2007 detects & installs Intel BIOS RAID controller with RAID 1. I selected automatic partitioning & installation process was done without any error. But after installation, with rebooting the workstation in nonfb mode, follwing messages appear on screen;

Creating root device

Trying to resume from /dev/mapper/isw_bhbafgdfie_Volume07

Unable toaccess resume device (/dev/mapper/isw_bhbafgdfie_Volume07

Echo: Can not open /proc/suspend2/ do_resume for write: 2

Mounting root file system /dev/root

Mount: error 6 mounting ext3 flags defaults

Well, retrying without the option flags

mount: error 6 mounting ext3

Switching to new root

Error opening /dev/console!!!!:2

unmounting old /proc

unmounting /sys

Switch root: mount failed: 22

Initrd finished

Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

How can I solve this problem?
