fuego
I am trying toinstall mysql and I am getting bad signaures on my packages. I used the 2007 official urpmi from this site. Is it just a matter of trying some different servers or is this a common problem? Any help much appreciated ~fuego~ Edited October 16, 2006 by fuego
ianw1974
I've seen bad signature problems before, when 2006 was released. After a while they did get fixed. You can always use the "--force" parameter to get around it, but of course, signatures are there as a way to protect that the package hasn't been modified by anyone. Chances are that it hasn't, but if you're worried about using the above parameter, then download directly from mysql.
fuego
I replaced my URPMI list with different servers and then installed using the command line and it seemed to be okay, so I don't which step fixed it but thanks
