Guest Anna Ves
Goodmorning everybody I am new to the Linux community. I have never used Linux before, but I find it very overwhelming... so I have recently installed Ubuntu, which I was told that is quite "light" for a beginner. I am now trying to install Opera Browser but when I try to open it with GDebi Package Installer I get this message: "Error: Dependency is not satisfyable: libqt3c102-mt". I am quite an experienced user as far as Windows are concerned, but my knowledge on Linux is limited. Any help? ffi
Hi Welcome to MUB, which version of Ubuntu are you using and which version of Opera are you trying to install? It sounds like you are trying to install an older version of Opera (<9.0) on a newer (>= Dapper) version of Ubuntu. Guest Anna Ves
Thank you for making me feel so much at home! Yes, you are right. Older version of Opera, that's it! Problem solved!
