I had just noticed this morning that scim no longer starts when I log in. (in mandriva 2006 I didn't have this problem, but when I installed 2007, I didn't check if scim was working properly until this morning...) also when I try running scim -d, I get the scim icon in the notifications area, but I can't use ctrl+space to start scim in any program. my local is english utf-8.

locale

LANG=en_US.UTF-8

LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8

LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8

LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8

LC_COLLATE=en_US.UTF-8

LC_MONETARY=en_US.UTF-8

LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF-8

LC_PAPER=en_US.UTF-8

LC_NAME=en_US.UTF-8

LC_ADDRESS=en_US.UTF-8

LC_TELEPHONE=en_US.UTF-8

LC_MEASUREMENT=en_US.UTF-8

LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_US.UTF-8

LC_ALL=

when I run export I get this:

declare -x XMODIFIERS="@im=none"

i think it should say scim or something...
