camelrider
Is there an available codex for viewing .asx files in Linux, preferably with Mplayer? Here's an example of one I'd like to see: http://veratech.aero/asx/Phantom%207-19-2006.asx Or am I missing a feature in my browser (Opera) that is needed in order to load this type of URL? daniewicz
I tried your link this afternoon, it appeared to be down. I was able to get the streaming video working moments ago with mplayer, although it was choppy. I use the codec package: all-20050412.tar.bz2 from http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/ I just tried your link again, and mplayer errored out. Maybe there is something wrong with the link? edit: I was able to get a different asx file to play, so I do think there is something wrong with your link. camelrider
Thanks. I've updated my codecs. I now think the link is bad too. Haven't run across another interesting file to try yet for test.
