mightymulatto
The source can't be read. Maybe you don't have enough rights for this, or source doesn't contain data (e.g: no disc in drive). (Encrypted or faulty DVD) This is the error I began receiving when I tried to play DVDs. I've downloaded the latest version of libdvdcss, but some how I don't think it's that. I got a plugin error before. Am I missing out on something realy obvious here? mightymulatto
Is xine configured to use the correct device? settings>xine engine parameters>media Ah I've been messing with that all night. I can play CD's so I set it up as the same device. The player will say at the top which dvd it is, but still gives the error. I think i'm setting that up right. mightymulatto
I jacked around with iit and well. I did install the libdvdcss but had no gcc compiler installed. Got it in and then followed the directions to the letter in the install file. It works, but I don't know if that fixed it lol! ><!
