When i press - key it ptoduces a ) key. also a->q also d->c and many more.These are only in X session,not in console.(tty) Now i have un-installed *ati* driver.Still the problem continues. This seems something with keymap.But i guess why ATI driver changed the Xkb keymap. pls.help on this problem.? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scoonma Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 The driver has probably changed your xorg.conf file (residing in /etc/X11). You could go to this dir and check for older (working) versions of xorg.conf for your keyboard layout.
