hirohitosan
On MCC at Boot loader there are some check boxes: Enable ACPI Force no APIC Force no Local APIC Can someone explain me what does it means? Should I checked or no?
daniewicz
These options are generally used when you are having hardware related problems. Do you have specific problems you are trying to resolve?
scarecrow
If you have no trouble booting your system with 'enable ACPI' ticked in and the other two ticked out, then leave it like that. These settings are aimed for systems with problematic ACPI revisions which can cause resource conflicts and devices which cannot be initialized (harddisks, cardbus controllers, USB controllers...).
