Urza9814
I'm trying to install Xen, and the install is failing. Here's the install log: Xen CHECK-INSTALL Tue Aug 8 16:56:42 EDT 2006 Checking check_brctl ./check_brctl: line 9: brctl: command not found Check for the bridge control utils (brctl) failed. I dunno...I'm kinda confused. I found a lotta stuff on how to use it...but not really anything on how to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. tyme
chances are it may not be built into your kernel, you may need to compile it yourself. i personally have never used it, so i'm not sure where the option for it may be...
scoonma
Hi Urza, you wrote: Checking check_brctl./check_brctl: line 9: brctl: command not found [...] Maybe this article will help you: http://linux-net.osdl.org/index.php/Bridge However, this is background explanation, too. But it also contains a link to sourceforge. You can find a tarball for bridge-utils here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=17598 Good luck, scoonma Edited August 9, 2006 by scoonma
