eroica
hello, i had a quick ?. tried last night to update mandi daemon and did not go well. Is there a better way way then removing updated packages and then removing the repository where I got the rpm(SoS) and then updating repositories w/official mandriva site again. I guess what i'm saying is there a command to revert back to an older package that you've discovered does not work... alan
Kieth
I have a silly question, but did you go into the Software Management part of MCC and delete the undesired daemon? Then, while in MCC, you can click on the RPM icon, and delete your RPM source. Kieth
scarecrow
You will probably need downgrading dbus as well. Simply disable the SoS repository, update sources, and urpme mandi urpmi mandi
eroica
yeah i had pretty much done as u suggested. I thoght maybe urpmi had a better way to regress back to a previous version. the man page didnt specify anything but there are many undocumented switches so i thought there might be a one step command. that's all....
