Gimp question

Is there an easy way to use Gimp to convert a directory of TGA files into JPGs?

I don't believe you can do it with gimp, however, a simple google search for "TGA to JPG linux" gave me this page as the first result. Remember, always google ;)

I'd go with

convert file.tga file.jpg

 

so for batch processing

for i in `ls *.tga`; do convert $i `basename $i .tga`.jpg; done;

for i in `ls *.tga`; do convert $i `basename $i .tga`.jpg; done;

which is almost exactly what the page i linked to does:

for img in `ls *.tga`;do convert $img `echo $img |sed s/\.tga$/\.jpg/`;done

ok, so it's a slight variation ;)
