hanes
Hi, I am a teacher and I am supposed to pick a computer mag. to subscribe to. I want it to be a general mag (not linux only), but it would be nice if it featured some linux articles (5-40%). Anyone know of a magazine that fits the bill? Otherwise I am going with PC World or PC Magazine. Your thoughts would be valuable. Hanez
jboy
I'd suggest a journal/magazine with more comprehensive industry-wide coverage and not specifically tied to a particular hardware or software platform, such as: InfoWorld InformationWeek eWeek You would probably qualify for free subscriptions. A general listing of computing and internet related magazines can be found at this Yahoo site.
daniewicz
I like CPU (Computer Power User). In my opinion it is a cut above PC World or PC Magazine. This magazine has an approximate 10% linux content. The main focus is hardware.
Qchem
No idea which country you're in but PCPlus in the UK has some Linux articles.
