Guest Original Name
I just installed Rox-filer which seems to be working pretty good, but, it doesn't recognize that some of the video files I have are actually video files. The filer thinks that they are programs as opposed to files. Does anyone know how to change that?
qnr
I don't use Rox-filer, however, I would imagine that you're going to have to look in your settings, there should probably be something there related to mime-types.... that would be where you'd add new file types. beesea
you have to set the run action for those particular types. when you right-click on the file, there should be some option called "set run action". just on that and set it. see the manual for more info
Guest johnKFT
Do you mean the filer tries to execute them? If so, check that permissions are set to non-executable (see right-click menu for permissions)
