manly
Go grab texstar's rpm. Then, as root, run apt-get update (while connected to the net). Run synaptic and be happy ;-).
frosterrj
manually add an entry either--the /var/lib/apt/lists/<another folder> does not edit in Kate, so cant figure out how to add texstar. Any help?
frosterrj
got an newer version of Apt, removed old, installed new, but still had dependency issues with libfontconfig.so.1 which was not installed on my machine. Dont know why apt didn't just get it as well, but I did apt-get install libfontconfig, then install synaptic, and voila, up and running! cool Robert
