Guest smurffi.doe
Hi! I have a hp compaq nx6125 laptop with adm turion 64. I have tried to install mandriva on it. I got mandriva LE 2005 installed, but this is veeeeeeery slow and the cpu fan is on all the time. Is it possible to make working mandriva installation on this laptop or am I doomed to change to some else linux? Is there a linux that will work on turion? zachwor
Do you have the 64 bit version or the 32 bit one? I not sure if this really makes a difference or not, but if you are running a 32 bit version, try dowloading and installing the 64 bit one. It may be better suited for your 64 bit processor. Guest smurffi.doe
Hi! Made a completely new install with new cd:s and now mandriva works beatifully! I think one of my first cd:s was bad... So, as I see mandriva works good with turion64. -sd
