aru Posted February 12, 2003 Report Share Posted February 12, 2003 do the following: ~# find /lib/modules/ -name "parport_probe" If it returns 0 results, and you are sure you'll need it, you'll have to recompile your kernel enabling it (sorry) I have that module compiled for my 2.4.17 kernel, but I'm not sure if I've ever used it.
