papaschtroumpf Posted November 22, 2005 Report Share Posted November 22, 2005 I downloaded a 1.3G torrent with Azureus, it has hundreds (may be a few thousands?) files in it. Downloading the file works great, but when Azureus copies the file from the Incomplete directory to the finished torrents directory, I get an error (from Azureus) that the copy failed because too many files wre open. Outof curiosity I copied the same "incomplete" torrent on the windows machine and Azureus was able to finish it and move it with no problems. As far as I know both the windows and the linux machine have a the same defualt parameters for Azureus and I wasn't downloading or seeding any other torrent at the time. I'm guessing the problem is either with Java or Linux. How do I go about solving the problem? This is going to be a "progressive" torrent where new directories will be added from time to time, so I'm goin to keep running into the same problem.
