Guest Fluka Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 Hi! This is my first post. I'm running a LE2005 and my sound card is a Creative Labs Audigy mp3+. I've read all audigy related posts and try all without solving the problem. I've run the mixer and unmuted all channels, updated ALSA to version 1.0.9b, KDE sound is set to ALSA and full duplex, etc. The only odd thing that happened was after updating ALSA I try to insert the module into kernel by doing modprobe snd-emu10k1 and I got this message: Listen device /dev/pts/0 Message from syslogd@localhost at Sat Oct 1 12:28:30 2005 ... localhost kernel: Disabling IRQ #19 Any help please???? JonEberger Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 wow. it seems like you've really dotted your i's and crossed your t's. so, one thing to ask you to check...(i always forget this)...the default (even in Mandriva) is to set this sound card to a digital out. depending on whether yours is set up to be digital or not this could cause problems. it's caused me problems before. i presume you've got your connections set up right too. my audigy has like 18 ports (not really) that all look the same on the back. good luck. i know my audigy works well. yours should indeed.
