lakelover
I've tried using Quantas, Screem, Bluefish, Nvu, Kbear and all them give me fits trying to download my web site. Quantas worked fine for a while then went whacko and I've been unable to download my website files. Since there seems to be a common problem I am beginning to think it maybe KDE that's fouling things up. I'm wondering if any one, here, has had similar problems. I'm running Mandriva 10.2 and KDE, 3.3. I've looked at the various forums on the related web sites and have not found a solution. Kbear works most of the time though it's not uncommon that I have to try several times to get it to download my web site folders and files. devries
Not a soultion but something you can try: KDE has kio slaves. That means you can edit files via ftp as if they were on your own pc. Open konqueror, fill in the ftp address, browse to your site and use any texeditor to edit the html files.
