MrWhisp
Hi, I still use 10.1 since Mandriva 2005LE won't install on USB harddrive. The problem is that all links to rpm resources are to mandrakelinux and Mandriva have removed all old mandrake url:s. Does anyone have a suggestion to a working thac resource for 10.1? crazyspongebob
Actually 2005LE will install in USB harddrive if you don't use the default kernel by hitting ENTER key at the boot screen. Type alt2 (kernel 2.6.8.1, it's the default kernel for 10.1) at boot prompt if I remember correctly. Even 2006 RC2 has the same problem. I have to use that alternative kernel to install 2006 RC2. I think Mandriva has an announcement regarding changing mandrake url to mandriva url for updates and package installation on www.mandrivalinux.com. J.T.
