Aomighty
Ok, so I just installed flashplayer 7 into Firefox 1.0.5, and it works great, it's got video and everything, but no sound. A few times, I've gotten sound, but usually not. I know sound works, because I've tried with Mplayer and AmaroK and such. My sound driver is: cmipci, with the Turtle Beach Riviera card. Any ideas? Thanks. Edited July 27, 2005 by Ao the Unstoppable
devries
Try running sound through a soundwrapper. (example: artsdsp mozilla-firefox)
Aomighty
How would I set that up? Also, sound works in mplayerplugin and (I think) java as well.
devries
First you test if by running it from a console. Type: artsdsp <name of app>. If it works edit the shortcuts in the startmenu or desktop by adding artsdsp in the executable field.
Aomighty
Well, it's rather irregular whether or not sound works, so I'll report back if it doesn't, but it seems to have worked so far. Thanks!
