xthaparian Posted June 22, 2005 Report Share Posted June 22, 2005 first install the package from console su root then go to directory where the rpm is downloaded. after that do chmod a+x java*.rpm (or what ever the file name is) once that is installed it will create directory /usr/java after that I guess then best bet is to Go to Java.com and get the instructions.. Basically you have to create a soft link into Plugin directory of Firefox to the new installed java. Java.com clearly explains that. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
