geden
I ijust installed LM10.1 powerpack and was going to install the hostap program but I need the kernel source for my system. Output of uname -r says its 2.6.8.1-12mdk, but when I try to install I'm told it doesn't exist....what gives?
Ixthusdan
Did you do a physical search on the cd's? Or look in MCC? What are you typing on the CLI?
kristi1
doing uname -r gives you the kernel release. To find the release of the source look in /usr/src or do rpm -qa | grep kernel Hope that helps! Kristi
