rakenotriva
I have added numerous mirrors, but when I search in Control Center for packages with parted in the name or description I only get libparted or a gui front end for parted. Could it be installed already? A find command did not locate it. Anyway, parted-1.6.21-1mdk.src.rpm does exist, and I could download it from my browser and make it, but I want to know why the mandrake tool doesn't work, otherwise I won't be able to trust it for anything in the future. This is a new installation of Mandrake, so there shouldn't be any issues from previous package installs. -rake Edited June 10, 2005 by rakenotriva
Phantom
You must have something wrong in your URPMI mirrors. I just tested and it gave me this:µ [root@localhost manu]# urpmi parted Pour satisfaire les dépendances, les 2 paquetages suivants vont être installés (1 Mo): libparted1.6-1.6.21-1mdk.i586 parted-1.6.21-1mdk.i586 Est-ce correct ? (O/n) So the package is there.

rakenotriva
spinynorman, pbone.net did indeed find it for me. It took me a couple of tried to cofig the mirror, but then carroll.cac.psu.edu came through. It all works like I was originally expecting it to. Thanks, merci, gracias. -rake
