Guest PURE_EVIL1972 Posted June 8, 2005 Report Share Posted June 8, 2005 I left for awhile and now I'm back. I quit using Linux for a little bit and just stuck with Windows. All I can say is WOW! I had absolutely no problem with loading Mandriva on my system. Totally awesome. It even loaded drivers for my microsoft mouse that makes it work just like in windows!!! (Trackball optical with 6 buttons) I was simply amazed. It also automatically loaded my wireless network card and all my other hardware! In previous versions I would always have to hunt down drivers are try and fix them on my own. I'm simply amazed. I think that Linux is finally starting to get to the point where it will give Microsoft a run for it's money. I started with Mandrake version 6.0 (I think, long long time ago can't remember exactly) A big to Mandriva!!!!
