Kernel source installation [solved]

I don't know if it is secret, but I always check the ability to "select individual packages" and then I find it and add it. It is not intuitively obvious, but it can be done. I don't know why it is done this way. Perhaps Adamw could give some insight?

Otherwise is it easy to install after you install the Mandriva system. Just use

urpmi kernel-source-2.6

If you are new to Mandriva you should definitely check out info on urpmi

Being curious about the "secret" option, I reinstalled by dvd to check it out. You have to change the package selection to full order rather than grouping, and then the kernel-sources appear. It is a little "hidden" that way, but is available during the install nevertheless.

And is somewhat obscure. I'm not sure why Mandriva chose to do this. Adamw?
