lakelover Posted May 29, 2005 Report Share Posted May 29, 2005 I'm going crazy trying to put my address into four or five groups or address books, to I can use the filtering to pull up the category I want. I can do it by editing the contact and selecting a category. My problem is that some how I'm getting multiple entries of the same contact and when I try to delete the extra entries I lose all those particular contacts. Is that clear as mud? Anyway, it is DRIVING ME CRAZY!! I've tried reading the "Help" documentation but that tells me very little. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You have to add the contacts to catagories (multiple catagories if neccesary, like if your brother works for you add him to 'family' and 'work'). Now if you want to sent an email you can filter for these catagories.. If you have kontact installed (the kde pim framework) use that.
