Driver problem --> Network installation

I am trying to install Mandriva Linux 2005LE on an old laptop with no CD-ROM. I have downloaded network.img and network_drivers.img. When I try to boot from network.img, I get an error message saying: "No NET device found." I am told to insert the network_drives-disk, and when I do, I get a rather big list of different choices. I have tried to select pcnet_cs (I heard it might work), but the same message (No NET device found) pops back up. My PCMCIA Network Card is made by Billionton Systems Inc., and is called LNADL-100B. I have previously tried to install MandrakeLinux v10.0, and in that version it detects my network card all by itself. Could anyone please help me solve this problem?

I think there's actually a bug in the 2005 network installer which prevents it working properly with PCMCIA cards. You could try using the Cooker installer; I think you can use it to install 2005. Or, you could use 10.1, and then do an urpmi upgrade to 2005.
