Guest zebrektor
I have a system which has two hard disks. First hard disk 200GB Second hard disk 30GB On the first HD Win XP Professional is installed I installed LE2005 in to the second hard disk. I installed the LILO into the MBR (boot sector of the first HD) I can see the selection windows in the LILO menu. When I choose linux in the LILO menu LE2005 starts without any problems. The problem is that if I choose windows in the menu to start Windows XP, the only thing I can see on the screen is a blinking cursord on a black background and no HD movements. Can anyone help me on that?
ianw1974
Can you boot Linux, then go into Configure Your Computer, and then the boot section, and then on the LILO menu screen, there will be a "windows" option. Can you click the Edit button, and tell me what it says. Might be similar to: /dev/hdxy (x represents a letter, a, b, c, and y the number). Eg, on mine /dev/hda1
