Guest anthony Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 (edited) Hello. I used Kylix3 Pro with MDK 10.1 Official with no problems at all. Now I installed MDV LE2005 on two different computers including Kylix3 getting the same problems on both computers. LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5 is added to startdelphi and /usr/local/kylix3/bin is added to /etc/ld.so.conf, then running ldconfig. The IDE is doing fine for editing and compiling, running the application in the IDE causes the display of an empty application window, then the PC hangs. Running the compiled program outside the IDE gives the message : undefined symbol initPAnsiStrings. This is solved by running source /usr/local/kylix3/bin/kylixpath first. Now remains the problem that I can not run an application within the IDE. Remark: Programs do run when internal debugging is switched off. Can you give me some assistance? Thanks.
