lakelover
I recently installed Mandrivalinux 10.2 on a Window's drive and I can't get the correct times on both Linux and Windows. I have to reset the clocks whenever I switch from one to the other. Anybody have a solution? rolf
It's been a long time since I had this problem and that was with W98. I think you have to run your hardware clock in local time, not UTC. If you right-click on the clock and choose 'Adjust Date and Time', one of the options will be whether the hardware clock is set to local time or UTC. Ixthusdan
Yes, both windows and linux must use the same time keeping scheme, including whether or not to use day light savings time.
