Guest tik
Hi Big guys I installed mandrake 10.1 on Asus laptop which is having built in intel graphics card. During my installtion at first attempt i selected the resolution as flat 1024 * 800 and during sceond installation i selected 800*600 with 60hz. After the reboot only thing i can see a black screen and nothing else. Before i used debian and suse where i had the same problem which i solved by replacing the type as vesa and resolution as 800 * 600 and specifying the horz and vertical sync. But here in mandrake i cant find any options like vesa. please help to solve out this problem as early as possiable thanks in advance tik

Guest tik
Hi there thanks for the advice, i got it working but there are some strange things i observerd. first thing is that there is xfree86 .conf file in x11 directly instead of xorg.conf file. But today i made a update from the server and made the xorg.conf file and got it running. thanks once again. with regards tik
