Mail in Kmail

For those that may want to save backup copies of their Emails from kmail.

 

Mail used to be located as a hidden .mail folder in your home account.

 

I am now using KDE-3.4.

I searched and have discovered that it (mail) is now to be found in:-

/home/yourname/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail

And then in inbox and outbox.

There is a cur (current) in each of these two boxes.

 

I hope this helps someone sometime.
