Guest Shrink
Which perl video-ivtv module from thac's did you use? I only found one in the 10.1 directory, nothing under Mandriva 2005, is the one in the 10.1 directory the one you used? I've tried it and it didn't work for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I did a google search and found this one: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idp...c.i586.rpm.html Sorry - I didn't get it from Thac's site. This one worked fine, though.
klipp
Looks like you were VERY lucky! I can't make that combination work (possibly because we're using different tuners, I'm using a phillips!) Hopefully more help from devries will be forthcomming. This is beyond me. klipp
An alternate solution until ptune-ui get fixed: Thanks to mandrakes incorporation of the ivtv module in 2005's kernel and devries how-to (http://mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=24642) Mythtv is now much easier & faster to install, and you can tune channels from within Mythtv. When you close Mythtv the channel you were watching will be the default channel that will be viewed when you open mplayer. Kinda cumbersome, but it works.
