Guest geekburgerx Posted April 25, 2005 Report Share Posted April 25, 2005 this is my first time installing mandrake, and what i would like to do is install to a 2.5" drive in an external usb 2.0 enclosure. ive searched a few forums and havent been able to find any working solutions. my problem is that setup will only see my internal drive, even if i set that ide channel to "none" in the bios. my bios is capable of booting from usb, so if i can get setup to recognize the drive it should work.
