Guest Anatoly
Hi! I'd like to download/upload files from my SonyEricsson z1010 to a Linux PC. I have connected them via USB cable but there is nothing in the "removable" folder in my PC. Best regards, Anatoly
MrWhisp
I think you have the same problem as I have with my USB digital cameras. /mnt/removable exists but there are no files in the folder. I must manually mount the device. I didn't have to do this in Mdk 10.0 and 10.1, but in 2005LE (10.2) a mount is needed. Try mount /dev/sda1 and when you're done umount /dev/sda1 sda1 might need to be changed. Check the file /etc/fstab to see which device is connected to /mnt/removable. /MrWhisp
adamw
Probably not. Most phones don't work as usb mass-storage devices; they use proprietary interfaces and would need someone to write a special driver for Linux. I don't think many phones have these. You're generally better off using Bluetooth...
