well, my problem seems so simple, yet i am still stumped. i am trying to create a small partition at the front of my HD to use as the boot partition. i'm using partition magic 8 to do this. when i restart my computer to implement the changes, i get an error saying that partition magic can't edit my master boot record because an anti-virus program is protecting it. i have norton anti-virus installed, but i can't figure out how to get past this problem. any help would be much appreciated.
