Guest polbit
I want to get my hands ditrty with some C++ programming in KDE environment. I have 10.2 RC1 installed. What is the best IDE for KDE development? I Fedora distro I saw a package called KDE Development or something like that, but Mandrake doesn't seem to have anything like that. Is that the best way to start out? Also, what reading material would people recommend? Thanks! [moved from Software by spinynorman]
adamw
That would be kdevelop , which we do package. I seem to remember it was dropped from the CDs due to space considerations, though, so you'll need to set up main and contrib sources from http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ . Then you'll be able to install the kdevelop package via urpmi or rpmdrake.
