Guest milkydoo
I've got an old 8.2 installation that I haven't used in years, and I'm ready to try making the switch to Linux again. I want to know if an upgrade is ok or if I should just wipe it and start fresh. I searched on '8.2', but the char. min. is 4. TIA
liquidzoo
There are a lot of changes between 8.2 and 10.1. If you haven't used the system in a long time and you don't have anything on there that you can't lose, I would say wipe and start brand new. You'll be far less likely to have major compatibility problems that way.
Shadowchaser
best bet would be to start fresh. Edited March 21, 2005 by Shadowchaser
