Drakx Posted March 15, 2005 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 Hi Guys After following all the setups in tips and tricks i just cannot seem to get the ati drivers working with my mandrake 10.1 box I tryed updating zorg to 6.8 and then installed the ati drivers and still nothing works (i do get gui) but when i try fglrx_glxgears some thing pops up then gose right a way so i tryed glxgears and im getting 300FPS? what am i doing wrong Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Drakx Posted March 15, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 ok i reinstalled mdk 10.1 and now im getting 24028 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4805.600 FPS 26571 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5314.200 FPS 26576 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5315.200 FPS 26366 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5273.200 FPS so im taking it by that, that i ve 3d support it would be helpful if one of you could comfirm this please :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
adamw Posted March 15, 2005 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 yep, definitely. Though either glxgears doesn't scale much or the ATI drivers still suck, cos that's only 2x higher than my gf4mx440.
