Guest Quentin
Hi, I'm pretty much a newbie to linux so please try to explain things precisely... Here's my problem. I just installed Mandrake 10.1 on my computer the mouse worked fine during installation. Now after installing my mouse won't work at all. I have tried USB and PS/2 mice, neither work. I believe the problem may have been during the installation when I had all the hardware config option. How can I redo that? Thanks Edited March 13, 2005 by Quentin
adamw
Hold down 'alt' and press 'F2'. This will bring up the run program dialog box. Type konsole . This will open a terminal. In the terminal, type 'su' and hit enter. Type in your root (administrator) password when asked, and hit enter. You will see the $ in the prompt change to #; this indicates you are now acting as root. Type 'mousedrake'. This will bring up the mouse configuration program, from which you can hopefully fix the problem. Let us know if you still have problems.
