For your tutorial to work, you have to make sure that xmms-cdread rpm is installed. That rpm is not installed by default in mandrake 8.2 (being that it'is part of the optional packages in cd #3). Otherwise,you cannot see the option of Audiocd reader in the plugin. Other than that, your tip works, thanks DOlson for the tip.
