this is only for SBLive cards

 

pls ignore this if you got your 4.1 or 5.1 to work. just found out that not all my speakers produce sound when playing mp3s. Duh me.

go make this edit in your /etc/emu10k1.conf file

 

emu10k1.conf

CARD_IS_5_1=yes <--------------change that to yes if it was a no

USE_DIGITAL_OUTPUT=no

ENABLE_TONE_CONTROL=yes
