Guest maker Posted February 24, 2005 Report Share Posted February 24, 2005 I am new to Mandrake from Windows and trying it out. I downloaded a Firefox .tar. I was advised to create a new folder but when I try to do that I get a warning that only the Administrator is allowe dot do that. how do I log on as Administrator please? There are several ways: 1. You can create a dir under your /home/user (example. /home/user/software/firefox) 2.
