I'd like to know if the fact that iwconfig gives a signal quality means that the card is setup correctly and is capable of transmitting data. sellis Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 As I know from experience, the signal quality doesn't necessarily mean thet you can connect using your card. The most common problem (I have heard) is firewall setup - I certainly encountered it when trying to get wireless working.
