Guest houix
When trying to up-date from OpenOffice version 1.1.2 to version 1.1.4. on my Mandrake 10.0 using the rmp package OpenOffice.org-1.1.4-5mdk.src.rpm I recieve the following message: "Some package requested cannot be installed: OpenOffice.org-1.1.4-5mdk.src (due to unsatisfied jdk[== 1.4.2_06])" and asking me if I agree... I up-graded Mandrake from the site, it seems that all package are up-to-date; also "jdk" does not seems to be a rpm package... So what can I do to have OOo 1.1.4 properly installed and running under Mandrake 10.0? Thanks for your help, Jean-Pierre
DragonMage
A src.rpm is a source rpm, you need to compile it first. Usually by the command rpmbuild --rebuild <blah>.src.rpm Of course you probably need a ton of software installed (usually development packages) before you can compile it.
