Bellies Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 Hi, I currently have a dual boot with Mandrake 10.0 and Windoze XP, I never use windoze anymore so I want to install Fedora Core instead. I would like any tips that people have as I have heard many interesting things. I would partition HD into 3, Swap, ext3Mandrake & ext3Fedora but I would make one of the ext3s larger and have my docs on this partition. I have read that you can share the Home folder between the two distros? true? Also that you can install lilo in the first distro installation and then in the second installation not allow lilo to write to the MBR then copy the boot folder into the first distro's boot folder? true?
