joeclark Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 I have a Mandrake 10.0 machine running as an NFS server. I am accessing this server from Red Hat 7 clients. It seems that whenever I try to do anything with an NFS mount, the client machines hang. I tried the sync/async server option, but both act the same. Looking with tcpdump, it seems that the server simply stops responding to requests, although there is no syslog entry reporting a problem on the server.
