multios
I used easyurpmi to change the mirrors I use for upgrading my 10.0 system. I have used easyurpmi before and it worked great, but it has been a while since I tried updating the system. After copying the new commands/sites into my root terminal, I let it do it's thing. Since it had been a while, I agreed to everything and left the room. Coming back some time later, I couldn't get any programs to run, I double-checked what I had pasted into the terminal and found that I forgot to change the default 10.1 setting to 10.0 :( I rebooted to see what would happen and to my dismay, the system couldn't boot. It just hung while trying to boot. Will I have to reinstalll 10.0 now? I do have separate partitions ( /, /usr, /var, /home, /tmp). Thanks. multios

multios
Well, now 2 days after my mistake, Mandrake booted just fine! The only thing I seemed to have "lost" was Evolution settings (migrating fails) as far as I can tell. I am running Mandrake now. Should I go back into my files and change the 10.1 back to 10.0 or leave well enough alone? Edited February 8, 2005 by multios
